Our 200-hour course is open to anyone who is serious about deepening his/her personal yoga practice or becoming a yoga teacher. Any age over 15 and any level is welcome. The foundational course is perfect for high school/college students, moms & dads, school teachers, health care professionals, personal trainers, massage therapists, and everyone who simply loves yoga!
Our 300-hour course is open to anyone already holding a 200-hour certificate from a credible Yoga Alliance-registered yoga school.
No problem. When the student is ready, the teacher appears. Start where you are, trust your path, and enjoy the journey. We are happy to share yoga with everyone.
You are allowed to miss one weekend if a conflict arises. You will be expected to make up the missed material, and there will be various ways to do that, depending on what type of coursework was missed. If you need to miss 2 weekends, it’s not ideal, but we may be able to work with you…it simply depends on which weekends. Please contact us to discuss options. NOTE: this policy does not apply to our graduate immersion courses, which are only 1-4 weekends long.
Yes! Payment plans are available via ACH automatic, monthly debit from your bank account to Yoga Loft. All payments are made through Yoga Loft, and cash, checks, and all major credit cards are accepted. Please contact justin@yogaloftmb.com, for further details.
In our 200-hour course, students are expected to practice 3 times per week minimum, in addition to weekend meetings, throughout the course. Public classes with Shelley, Suzy, and Justin are included in your tuition fee. Discount packages are available at Yoga Loft during the training to enable practice with other teachers as well. Yes, it is okay to practice elsewhere with another, approved teacher. There are weekly reading assignments coordinated with each weekend’s focus.
Yes. All of our courses (including the 300-hour) are in alignment with Yoga Alliance guidelines for foundation level study.
